Accident – Death – Obituary News : : 1. Indiana serial killer investigation
2. Suspected serial killer grave site discovery
More than 10,000 bone fragments were discovered on suspected serial killer Herb Baumeister’s million-pound Indiana property in 1996, and his victims are still being identified. Authorities believe Baumeister, who lived a double life as a seemingly upstanding family man, picked up men at gay bars while his wife and children were on holiday. He then brought them back to his Westfield, Ind., home — known as Fox Hollow Farm — and murdered them, burying their remains on the 18-acre property. Less than two weeks after the remains were found, Baumeister died by suicide. Hamilton County Coroner Jeff Jellison recently identified another victim as Jeffrey A. Jones, who went missing in 1993.

The Horrific Discovery at Fox Hollow Farm
In a chilling revelation, more than 10,000 bone fragments were unearthed on the sprawling million-dollar property of suspected serial killer Herb Baumeister in Indiana back in 1996, sending shockwaves through the community. The property, known as Fox Hollow Farm, became the haunting site of Baumeister’s heinous crimes.
Unveiling a Dark Double Life
Authorities uncovered a disturbing pattern in Baumeister’s modus operandi, where he lured men from gay bars to his residence while his family was away, only to brutally murder them and bury their remains on the 18-acre estate. Despite suspicions that he may have been responsible for up to 25 murders, Baumeister was officially linked to 12 victims. The revelation of his sinister double life shook the foundations of the seemingly peaceful neighbourhood.
A Tragic End
Tragically, less than a fortnight after the bone fragments were discovered, Baumeister took his own life, leaving behind a legacy of unspeakable horrors. The lack of closure for the families of the victims added another layer of tragedy to the already grim tale. The community was left grappling with the unsettling reality of a killer in their midst who evaded justice.

Unravelling the Mystery
Recently, the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office reignited interest in the case by identifying another victim, Jeffrey A. Jones, who had been reported missing in August 1993. Through meticulous forensic genetic genealogy investigation, the remains of Jones were finally brought to light, shedding new light on the extent of Baumeister’s atrocities.
Closure Through Identification
In a series of breakthroughs earlier this year, the coroner’s office successfully identified Manuel Resendez and Allen Livingston as additional victims of Baumeister, providing closure to their families after years of uncertainty. Despite the challenges posed by the condition of the remains, the dedicated team of investigators persevered in their quest for justice.
Continued Pursuit of Justice
With four DNA profiles yet to be identified, the investigation into Baumeister’s crimes remains ongoing, with the coroner’s office expressing unwavering commitment to uncovering the truth. The community remains vigilant as they strive to bring closure to the families of the victims and ensure that justice is served for those who lost their lives at Fox Hollow Farm.
