Man Arrested for Driving Wrong Way on I-84 in Tolland, Connecticut
In a bizarre incident in the early hours of Saturday morning, a Hartford man was arrested after being spotted driving the wrong way on Interstate 84 in Tolland, Connecticut. The incident took place near Exit 68, where multiple 911 calls reported a vehicle with hazard lights on, traveling in the eastbound lanes of the westbound highway.
Responding Troopers from Troop C quickly located the vehicle, a silver Honda Crosstour, parked on the westbound rest area entrance ramp in Willington. The driver, identified as Gilberto Rivera of Hartford, was found to be showing signs of impairment during interactions with the authorities.

Upon further investigation, Rivera was asked to participate in Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which he did not perform to standard.
