The Virginia State Police are investigating a fatal three-vehicle crash that took place on May 24th at 5:50 p.m. on Route 220 in Franklin County. A 2018 Ford F-150 crossed the median and collided with a 2003 Freightliner tractor trailer and a 2023 Nissan Altima. The driver of the Ford, Christopher Jeffrey Perry, 48, from Apex, NC, was wearing his seatbelt and died at the scene. The driver of the tractor trailer, who was also wearing his seatbelt, was injured and taken to the hospital. The driver of the Nissan, who was unharmed, was also wearing a seatbelt. The Victims
The driver of the Ford F-150, identified as Christopher Jeffrey Perry, 48, of Apex, NC, tragically lost his life in the crash.
