Man Found Dead in East Columbus Apartment Complex
In a tragic turn of events, 20-year-old Skylan Sherrod of Columbus was found dead in an East Columbus apartment complex early this morning. The Columbus Police Department has confirmed that this is the second homicide of the year in the city, making it a shocking development for the community.

According to reports, Sherrod was last seen at his Deerfield home around 11 PM the night before. Residents in the area reported hearing shots in the early morning hours, but it wasn’t until just after 8 AM that Sherrod’s body was discovered.
