PARK HALL, Md. – A tragic incident unfolded on Friday, May 24th, 2024, in the serene neighbourhood of Park Hall, Maryland. At around 7:15 a.m., the tranquillity of the 20000 block of Colby Drive was shattered as Deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office (SMCSO) rushed to respond to a distressing report of a person not breathing. Upon reaching the location, a heart-wrenching discovery awaited them – a lifeless male victim lying motionless on the ground outside a residence.

The peaceful surroundings of Park Hall were soon inundated with the presence of Detectives from the SMCSO Criminal Investigations Division (CID) and a meticulous Forensic Investigator from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. CID swiftly took charge of the investigation, meticulously combing through the scene for clues. Initial assessments, however, yielded no evidence of foul play marring the peaceful community.

The deceased individual has been identified as 18-year-old Eyverson Tykinnley Baker, a member of the close-knit Park Hall community.
