The parents of the victims from the Pune car accident in Madhya Pradesh are calling for a Supreme Court-monitored probe and trial in their home state, rather than in Maharashtra where the crime occurred. Two software engineers, Anish Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta, both 24 years old and from Madhya Pradesh, tragically lost their lives in the accident. Ashwini’s father, Suresh Kumar Koshta, is demanding justice and wants the accused to be tried as an adult due to the seriousness of the crime. Anish’s father, Om Prakash Awadhiya, is determined to fight for justice and requests that the case be treated as a double murder. The accused, a minor, was granted bail by the Juvenile Justice Board but was later remanded after public outcry over the lenient punishment. The minor, son of a prominent real estate developer, is currently on house arrest until June 5.

In light of these developments, the families of the victims continue to push for a fair and impartial investigation, with the hope that justice will be served for Anish Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta. The demand for a Supreme Court-monitored probe and trial in Madhya Pradesh reflects the deep-rooted desire for accountability and closure in this tragic chapter.
