Days after a tragic accident involving a Porsche car in Pune that claimed two lives, another heartbreaking incident occurred in Mumbai early on Thursday. A 15-year-old boy riding a bike collided with another biker on Nesbit Bridge at Mazgaon in Byculla, resulting in the latter’s untimely death.
The police swiftly responded to the scene, detaining the minor on the spot. Later in the day, his elderly father was also arrested for allowing his underage son to ride the bike. According to police officials, the two bikers were traveling in opposite directions when the collision occurred at around 7.15 am.
The young boy, who was on his way to get breakfast, had taken his father’s bike without informing him. Tragically, this reckless decision led to the fatal crash with the other biker, identified as Irfan Nawab Ali Shaikh, a 32-year-old garment business owner from Mazgaon.
