Home Minister Senator Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail stated that investigators have not found any links between four recent high-profile security incidents, including the deadly attack on a police station in Ulu Tiram, Johor. Each incident appears to be isolated, with unique circumstances. The incidents involved a couple attempting to seize weapons in Dato Keramat, individuals in Ulu Tiram viewing others as infidels, a man dreaming of an audience with the Yang diPertuan Agong at Istana Negara, and a death threat received by DAP’s Seputeh MP. Two men were also arrested for attempted trespass at Istana Negara. The situation is under investigation.

On a separate note, two individuals were arrested for attempting to trespass at Istana Negara. One of the suspects claimed to have had a dream instructing him to seek an audience with the Yang diPertuan Agong, Malaysia’s monarch, leading to their intrusion into the royal palace.
