Graves County Sheriff Seeks Public Help in Burglary Investigation

In a recent incident that has shaken the quiet town of Graves County, Kentucky, the Sheriff’s office is reaching out to the public for assistance in locating two suspects involved in a burglary case. The crime took place in the serene Dukedom area, nestled near the picturesque Kentucky/Tennessee border, where a residential home and detached garage were broken into by a man and a woman on May 11.

The perpetrators not only stole numerous items from the property but also caused significant damage to a door and a window in the process. The brazen act was captured on surveillance video, which has been instrumental in identifying one of the suspects as 34-year-old Bobby J. McCord.

McCord is known to frequent both the idyllic Water Valley area and the quaint south Fulton Tennessee locale. His criminal history includes prior convictions for burglary and multiple theft offenses, indicating a pattern of criminal behaviour.

The Sheriff’s office revealed that McCord managed to evade capture by hiding in a dense wooded area while detectives combed through the vicinity in Water Valley in a bid to apprehend him. The elusive suspect’s ability to evade law enforcement has only heightened the urgency of the investigation.
