One person tragically lost their life and three others were injured in a car accident in Shindawane village on the Uruli Kanchan – Jejuri road. The deceased, Amar Sahebrao Ghadge, was a 28-year-old resident of Junnar, while the injured individuals were identified as Ganesh Thorat, Shubham Ingole, and Aditya Taware. The victims were goat sellers on their way to the Phaltan marketplace when the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to crash into railings and fall into a canal. Despite rescue efforts by locals, Amar Ghadhe did not survive the incident. An FIR has been lodged at the Uruli Kanchan police station in Pune rural police jurisdiction.

Tragedy struck in the early hours of Thursday morning in the serene village of Shindawane, located on the Uruli Kanchan – Jejuri road, as a speeding car carrying four individuals met with a fatal accident. The car, driven by Amar Sahebrao Ghadge (28) from Junnar, was headed towards the marketplace in Phaltan. Unfortunately, the journey took a tragic turn when the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to collide with the railings before plunging into a nearby canal.

Victims and Rescue Efforts

Among the occupants of the ill-fated car were Ganesh Thorat (22) and Shubham Ingole (21) from Wagholi, along with Aditya Taware (20) from Junnar. The group, who were engaged in the business of selling goats, found themselves in a harrowing situation as locals rushed to the scene to provide assistance. Despite the valiant efforts of bystanders, only three individuals could be rescued from the submerged car, while Amar Ghadhe tragically lost his life in the incident.
