During the investigation, a man named Sayyed Mustakin Khan was detained, and it was determined that he had been in the company of two girls on the day of the murder. The police learned that Babu had accompanied Khan and the two girls to Parsik Hill, where they consumed alcohol together, a routine occurrence among the group.

However, a dispute arose when Babu allegedly made advances towards one of the girls, leading to a violent altercation that resulted in his death. The suspects fled the scene after committing the crime, leaving behind incriminating evidence.

Legal Proceedings

Following the arrest of Sayyed Mustakin Khan, a local court has remanded him in police custody until May 23 for further questioning. The two girls involved in the incident have been sent to a remand home as the investigation continues.
