More than a year after an 11-year-old girl was struck and killed in Fairfield while using a school crosswalk, the Solano County District Attorney’s Office is now pursuing charges against the woman believed to have hit her while driving under the influence. Fairfield police announced on Friday that an arrest warrant was issued for 32-year-old Fairfield resident Elena Lindsey McGraw-Ogans, who was arrested on May 16. She was booked into the Solano County Jail on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence, and no bail amount was set. McGraw-Ogans was believed to have been under the influence of alcohol and drugs at the time of the accident, resulting in felony charges of driving under the influence and child endangerment.
