A 21-year-old youth from Bengaluru was arrested by the Hebbal traffic police after a video of him riding a bike with his female friend sitting on the fuel tank went viral on social media. The incident occurred on the Kodigehalli flyover on BB Road. The accused, identified as Silambarasan, was traced and arrested by the police. The bike was seized, and his driving licence may be suspended. In a separate incident in Kolar, two youths were booked for performing a wheelie stunt on the Bengaluru-Chennai highway. The police swiftly acted upon seeing the video posted on social media, seizing the two-wheeler and booking the individuals under the Indian Motor Vehicle Act.

Arrest of Youth for Reckless Riding on Fuel Tank

In a recent incident that occurred in Bengaluru, a 21-year-old youth by the name of Silambarasan, hailing from MV Layout in Shampur near Kaval Byrasandra, was arrested by the Hebbal traffic police. The arrest came after a video of Silambarasan riding a bike with his female friend seated on the fuel tank went viral on social media. The incident took place on the Kodigehalli flyover on BB Road on a Friday night.

The video captured the accused riding the bike with his friend sitting side-saddle on the fuel tank as they travelled from Yelahanka towards Hebbal. The reckless act was filmed by occupants of a car following behind the bike, which eventually led to the arrest of Silambarasan. The Hebbal traffic police took action by registering a case against the biker, tracing him through the registration number, and subsequently apprehending him. As a result of his dangerous behavior, the police have not only seized the bike but have also recommended the suspension of Silambarasan’s driving licence to prevent any further incidents of this nature.

Wheelie Stunt Lands Two Youth in Trouble

In another incident that occurred in Kolar, two young individuals found themselves in trouble after posting a video on social media of them performing a wheelie stunt. The Kolar police swiftly responded to the video, which depicted the motorcycle stunt taking place on the Bengaluru-Chennai highway near the Kolar Deputy Commissioner’s office.

Upon receiving information about the video, the police wasted no time in identifying the culprits – Ganesh and Akshay, both residents of Basavanatha. The authorities promptly apprehended the duo and seized their two-wheeler. Ganesh and Akshay were subsequently booked under the relevant provisions of the Indian Motor Vehicle (IMV) Act to deter such reckless behavior on the roads.
