The suspect, 30-year-old Alsaiah Griffin, initially fled the scene but later surrendered to authorities. Griffin has been charged with murder and is currently in custody.

Mount Carmel East Hospital Incident

Another shooting incident occurred on Sunday morning, where a person was found with a gunshot wound to the foot in the 1700 block of Lonsdale Place. Columbus police responded to the scene and promptly transported the individual to Mount Carmel East Hospital for treatment.
