The Cheatham County Grand Jury charged Babcock, 32, with attempted second-degree murder, aggravated assault, three counts of reckless endangerment, and vandalism. The charges stem from Babcock shooting at 18-year-old Caieden Wheeler, the Domino’s delivery driver, as he attempted to deliver a pizza to Babcock’s neighbour.
The Incident
When Wheeler mistakenly drove into Babcock’s driveway, the neighbour flagged him down to deliver the pizza. However, as Wheeler returned to his car, Babcock emerged from his home and began shooting at him. Wheeler quickly backed out of the driveway and sped off, narrowly escaping harm.
