The impact of the crash threw the riders into the air, landing on another vehicle. Local residents apprehended Agarwal, who was later handed over to the police. A case was filed against Agarwal for various offenses, including rash driving and causing death by negligence. In a separate incident, a Hyderabad techie lost his life in a road accident in the US after surviving an initial crash.

London: A tragic incident occurred in Pune’s Kalyani Nagar in the early hours of Sunday morning, resulting in the loss of two lives. The incident took place at the Kalyani Nagar junction, where a speeding Porsche car, driven by a 17-year-old named Vedant Agarwal, collided with a motorcycle carrying Anish Awadiya and Ashwini Costa.
The two victims were returning home with friends after a night out at a club when Agarwal’s Porsche Taycan crashed into their bike. The impact of the collision sent Awadiya and Costa flying through the air, and they tragically landed on another car, leading to their immediate deaths.
After hitting the motorcycle, the Porsche swerved and crashed into the pavement, coming to a halt. Local residents who witnessed the incident quickly apprehended Agarwal, subjected him to assault, and handed him over to the authorities.

Legal Proceedings and Charges
Following the fatal crash, a case was registered against Agarwal at the Yerawada police station. He is facing charges under various sections of the law, including 279 for rash driving, 304A for death by negligence, 337 for endangering human life, and 338 for causing grievous hurt, in addition to provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act.
Tragic Loss of a Hyderabad Techie
In another heartbreaking incident, a 30-year-old software engineer from Hyderabad met with a fatal accident in the United States. Abbaraju Prudhvi Raj, along with his wife and friends, survived an initial collision but tragically lost his life after being struck by another vehicle.
The accident took place in North Carolina when Prudhvi Raj’s car collided with an unattended vehicle on the road. Despite the deployment of airbags that saved all occupants, Prudhvi Raj approached the crashed car to retrieve his phone and was fatally hit by a passing vehicle.
Having spent eight years working in the US, Prudhvi Raj had recently celebrated his second wedding anniversary before the tragic turn of events.
