Early Thursday morning, a resident of Danville found themselves in hot water after a routine traffic stop in Indiana took a turn for the worse. The incident occurred near 8th and High Streets in West Lebanon, where Indiana State Police officers pulled over a 1999 Toyota Avalon for suspicious behaviour.
Indicators of Criminal Activity
During the interaction with the vehicle’s occupants, the officer noticed certain indicators that raised suspicions of criminal activity. This prompted the officer to call for a K-9 unit to conduct a further investigation into the matter. A Deputy from the Warren County Sheriff’s Department responded promptly with his K-9 partner to assist in the search.

Upon the K-9 unit’s arrival, the canine alerted officers to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. Subsequent searches revealed a suspected controlled substance and marijuana hidden within the car.
