The devastating accident occurred at approximately 6 a.m. when the e-rickshaw, carrying five passengers, was struck from behind by a BMW car. The e-rickshaw was en route to Noida Sector 12-22 area from Noida City Centre, carrying passengers on their daily commute.

Upon impact, all the injured victims were promptly rushed to the hospital for medical attention. Sadly, two individuals, identified as Mohammad Mustafa (50) and Rashmi (25), a dedicated staff nurse at Metro Hospital, succumbed to their injuries during treatment. Meanwhile, Rajendra (45), Pawan (27), and Suraj (20) are currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Noida Sector 110.
