Pennsylvania State Police have arrested 31-year-old Anthony Martinez Young in connection with an attempted homicide case in Venango County. Young allegedly shot at a Pennsylvania man on May 1 along Shamburg Road in Oil Creek Township. A witness saw Young fire three shots at the victim from a gold, four-door 2007 Ford Fusion before fleeing the scene. An investigation by the PSP Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the US Marshalls Service led to Young’s arrest in Vinton, Virginia on May 13. He is currently held in the Roanoke City Jail awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania. More details on the case are yet to be revealed.

Arrest Made in Attempted Homicide Case in Venango County, Pennsylvania
31-year-old Anthony Martinez Young, a resident of Pleasantville, Pennsylvania, has been arrested by the Pennsylvania State Police in connection with an attempted homicide case that took place on May 1 in Oil Creek Township, Venango County.
The Incident
On the day of the incident, a witness observed a gold, four-door 2007 Ford Fusion with tinted windows driving along Shamburg Road. The driver, later identified as Young, engaged in a verbal altercation with one of the residents before approaching the victim with a gun.
Young proceeded to fire three shots at the victim but fortunately missed each one. He quickly fled the scene in his vehicle towards State Route 227, leaving the victim unharmed but shaken by the violent encounter.
The Investigation
Following the incident, the PSP Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) Fugitive Apprehension Unit, along with the United States Marshals Service (USMS), launched an active investigation to locate Young and bring him to justice.

After receiving new information, USMS, in collaboration with the Virginia State Police, successfully apprehended Young in Vinton, Virginia, on May 13. He is currently being held in the Roanoke City Jail pending extradition to Pennsylvania.
