A 26-year-old man was fatally attacked by three men in Greater Noida following a dispute at a CNG station over who would refuel their vehicle first, as per police reports on Tuesday. The incident occurred on Monday night, with two of the suspects already apprehended, according to Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Noida) Hirdesh Katheriya. Aman Kasana and his cousin Abhishek went to the Kheda Chauganpur village CNG pump in Ghaziabad to refuel their car, resulting in a confrontation with Ajay and his associates Ankush and Rishabh. Aman was severely injured during the scuffle and later succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. Legal procedures, including a post-mortem examination, are ongoing in the case.

Man Beaten to Death Over CNG Refuelling Dispute in Greater Noida

A tragic incident unfolded in Greater Noida when a 26-year-old man was allegedly beaten to death by three individuals following a dispute at a CNG pump. The altercation, which started over who would get their vehicle refuelled first, escalated quickly and led to a fatal outcome. The incident occurred at a CNG pump located in Kheda Chauganpur village, under the jurisdiction of Ecotech 3 police station.

Details of the Incident

The victim, Aman Kasana, hailing from Ghaziabad, had arrived at the CNG pump with his cousin Abhishek around 10.30 pm to refuel their car. An argument ensued between Aman and another individual, identified as Ajay alias Ajju, regarding refuelling priority. Ajay then called his associates, Ankush and Rishabh, to the scene, resulting in a physical altercation.

During the confrontation outside the CNG pump, Aman sustained severe head injuries from being struck with a stick. Despite being rushed to a hospital, he tragically succumbed to his injuries. The police launched an investigation based on a complaint lodged by Kasana’s family, leading to the identification of the three accused individuals.

Arrests and Recovery

Following the incident, two of the accused, Ajay and Rishabh, were apprehended by the authorities, with efforts underway to locate and arrest Ankush. The police impounded the car belonging to the accused individuals and recovered the stick used in the assault, which bore bloodstains.

Legal proceedings, including the post-mortem examination of the victim’s body, are currently underway as the authorities work towards ensuring justice in this tragic case. The incident serves as a somber reminder of the consequences of resorting to violence in moments of conflict.

In a separate incident last week, the Noida Police were compelled to take action against Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi MLA Amanatullah Khan, his son, and several others following a dispute at a petrol pump in the city. Allegations of assault and criminal intimidation arose after they purportedly attempted to jump the queue for refuelling their vehicle. However, the MLA has refuted these accusations.
