Just a few weeks later, on April 8, the same man, identified as James Daniel Leech, was spotted returning to the same home in an attempt to steal more weapons. This time, he managed to make off with an additional 10 guns.

Additional Discoveries

In addition to the stolen firearms, law enforcement also found multiple illegal animal parts at Leech’s home. Further investigation uncovered pawn tickets from various shops in Georgia, as well as different gun components.

Legal Consequences

James Daniel Leech was taken into custody and booked into Cobb County jail. He has been charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of illegal birds, and unlawful possession of firearms or weapons. Authorities have hinted that he may face additional charges as the investigation progresses.

Leech’s wife, Caitline Robertson, was also arrested during the search. However, she has since been released on bond.
