Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Nitin Bagate stated that the cash was intended for ‘Hawala’ transactions and was seized following suspicious activities. The detained individuals have been identified as Ramesh Khanduji Budhwant, Shailesh Bharatlal Rathod, Aslam Khan Ismail Khan, and Sheikh Rizwan Sheikh Shafi. Police Inspector Sunil Mane and Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) Prashant Munde were part of the team that conducted the raid and seized the cash.
