Nur Hossain was viciously attacked around 8:30 pm by individuals known only as Pocha, Kana Roni, Riyad, and Monir. The assailants allegedly took Nur to a nearby house in the neighbourhood, where he was subjected to brutal violence. Locals who heard his cries for help rushed to his aid, only to find him in a critical condition.

Efforts to Save Nur

Following the attack, Nur was rushed to Jashore General Hospital for urgent medical treatment. Doctors at the hospital, upon assessing the severity of his abdominal injuries, recommended his immediate transfer to a higher facility in Dhaka. Tragically, Nur’s condition deteriorated during the journey, and he passed away before reaching the destination.

Police Action and Investigation

Officer-in-Charge Abdur Razzak of Kotwali Police Station confirmed the incident and assured that legal actions are being taken against the perpetrators. The police are conducting a thorough investigation to apprehend those responsible for the senseless act of violence that resulted in Nur Hossain’s untimely death.
