The victim, identified as Alexander Espino of Bloomington, was struck by gunfire from a black Harley-Davidson style motorcycle while in a white Chevy Camaro. The male passenger in the Camaro was unharmed and managed to steer the vehicle to safety before calling 911. Video footage showed a bullet hole in the Camaro’s windshield. The Tragic Incident on the San Bernardino Freeway

In a shocking turn of events, the California Highway Patrol has confirmed that a man riding a motorcycle fatally shot a 19-year-old motorist on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway near San Dimas. The incident took place in the early hours of the morning, sending shockwaves through the local community.

CHP officers were called to the eastbound freeway at the Via Verde Drive exit around 2:16 a.m. on a Saturday. Upon arrival, they found a white Chevy Camaro on the right shoulder of the freeway. The victim, identified as Alexander Espino of Bloomington, was found inside the vehicle, tragically pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

According to the CHP’s investigation, a suspect riding a black Harley-Davidson style motorcycle began shooting at the passenger side of the Camaro, ultimately striking Espino. The male passenger in the vehicle was unharmed and managed to steer the Camaro to the offramp of Via Verde Drive before calling 911 to report the incident.

Video footage from the scene revealed a bullet hole on the right side of the Camaro’s windshield, further solidifying the violent nature of the crime. Despite this evidence, no description of the shooter was immediately available, leaving investigators with a challenging task ahead.
