The Case of Suspicious Death Unraveled in Sivaganga

The alleged perpetrators, identified as R Ramesh, N Nithish alias Rithish, P Senthil Kumar, R Sakthi Vel, S Gopi alias Gopi Krishnan, A Mohanraj, T Venkatesh, R Yasin, and Thavamani, were taken into custody as part of the ongoing probe.

The Victim’s Identity

The charred body was identified as Krishnasingh, a migrant worker hailing from Bihar, who met a tragic end at the hands of those now under arrest.

Investigations revealed that the prime accused, Ramesh, operates a brick manufacturing unit in Vaniyangudi. The unfortunate turn of events began when a mold plant went missing from Ramesh’s unit, leading to blame being placed on two individuals, including the victim, Krishnasingh.

Subsequently, both individuals were subjected to physical assault, with Krishnasingh losing his life in the process. The body of the deceased was covered with cloth and abandoned near Udayanur Kanmoi, where it was set ablaze using diesel fuel on May 16, 2022.
