Tragic Motorcycle Accident Claims Three Lives in Faridpur
Three members of a family tragically lost their lives in a devastating motorcycle accident that occurred in Bhanga upazila, Faridpur district. The incident, which took place on a Saturday morning at around 11am at Hamerdi area, has left the community in shock and mourning.
The victims were identified as Kashem Shikder, aged 40, his 8-year-old son Morsalin, and his brother Nazmul Shikder, aged 37. All three were residents of Koyaldia village under Moksedpur upazila in Gopalganj district. The family was on their way to Faridpur when the accident occurred.
According to Bhanga Highway Police Station sub-inspector Abdul Baki, the trio was riding on a motorcycle towards Faridpur when they collided head-on with a truck at Hamerdi bus stand. The impact of the collision was so severe that young Morsalin tragically lost his life on the spot.
Local residents rushed to the scene and managed to rescue Kashem and Nazmul, who were critically injured. They were immediately taken to Faridpur Medical College Hospital for treatment. However, despite the best efforts of the medical staff, both Kashem and Nazmul were pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
