19-year-old sought in connection with Lawrenceville shooting
Gwinnett County police are currently on the lookout for 19-year-old Raheem Whiteside following a fatal shooting at a Lawrenceville apartment complex that occurred over the weekend.
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Gwinnett County law enforcement authorities launched an investigation into a robbery that escalated into a tragic shooting incident at a Lawrenceville apartment complex late Saturday night.

According to reports from FOX 5, the victim, 20-year-old Timothy Henderson, lost his life at the Herrington Mill Apartments, where he resided.
Resident Anna Dividu recounted to FOX 5 that she initially thought the sounds she heard outside her apartment at approximately 10 p.m. were children playing. It wasn’t until she took her dog out for a walk about an hour later that she discovered Henderson’s body in the hallway.
Expressing shock, Dividu stated, “I’ve been living here for almost 13 years, and I have never witnessed such a horrific incident.”
The prime suspect in this case has been identified as 19-year-old Raheem Whiteside.
Warrants have been issued for his arrest on charges of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of certain felonies.

Efforts are still underway by law enforcement to locate Whiteside.
Meanwhile, Dividu revealed that the traumatic experience has prompted her daughter to assist in searching for a new place to live.
“I no longer feel safe staying here,” she told FOX 5 Atlanta. “The image of the victim’s body has haunted me, causing sleepless nights.”
