Man Arrested for Chain Snatching in Adambakkam, Chennai

A 33-year-old man from Maharashtra was apprehended by the Adambakkam police in Chennai on Sunday for allegedly snatching a chain from a woman. The incident took place on April 8, when Padmavathi, a 61-year-old woman, was walking down a street in Adambakkam. An unidentified man on a motorbike approached her, snatched her chain, and swiftly fled the scene.

Modus Operandi of the Accused
