In a separate incident the night before, a 32-year-old garment worker named Khairun Begum and her 4-year-old nephew were killed in a similar accident involving a Basumati bus near Purabi Cinema Hall. The driver responsible for the second accident has been arrested and the bus seized.

The police have seized the bus involved in the accident, but the driver managed to flee the scene before being apprehended.

The driver responsible for the incident was arrested, and the bus was seized for further investigation.
