Tragic Accident in Clermont County, Ohio
A devastating accident occurred in Clermont County, Ohio, where a man lost his life after being struck by two vehicles on the road. Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) troopers from the Batavia Post were called to the scene early Monday morning at 1:30 a.m. on westbound State Route 125 near State Route 222.
The victim, identified as Robert Love, 39, of Amelia, was walking shirtless on State Route 125 when the tragic incident occurred. Despite the efforts of state troopers who arrived promptly, Love succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
According to reports from WCPO in Cincinnati, a witness discovered Love’s body on the road and immediately called for assistance. Shockingly, neither of the drivers involved in the accident stopped to offer help, and no car parts were found near the victim.

In response to the incident, mutual aid was provided by the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office, Clermont Fire Department, and Clermont County Coroner’s Office. The authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and contact the OSHP in Batavia at 513-732-1510.
