Izaac Ora Ingle, 32, and Christina Spell, 25, were charged with felony theft of property over $1,000. Ingle and Spell admitted to stealing the truck and trailer, which were reported stolen from Greenwood Cemetery. Hot Springs Couple Arrested for Stealing Pickup Truck and Trailer from Cemetery

A Hot Springs man and woman found themselves in hot water early Friday morning after being arrested for allegedly stealing a pickup truck and trailer from a local cemetery. Izaac Ora Ingle, 32, and Christina Spell, 25, were taken into custody in the 400 block of Ridgeway Street and charged with theft of property over $1,000.

Arrest and Charges

The incident unfolded shortly after 1 a.m. when Hot Springs police Officer Anthony Montano made a traffic stop on a white 1998 GMC Sierra that had been reported stolen earlier. Ingle was driving the truck, with Spell and two other individuals as passengers. All four were detained, read their rights, and questioned by Lt. Kenny May.

Ingle and Spell confessed to stealing the truck from a cemetery earlier that day after finding the keys left inside. Ingle also admitted to stealing a trailer valued at $1,000, which he detached and left near the 400 block of Malvern Avenue. The truck and trailer were reported stolen from Greenwood Cemetery on Greenwood Ave.

Court Proceedings

Both Ingle and Spell, who have no prior criminal records, are currently in custody on a $2,500 bond. They are scheduled to appear in Garland County District Court on June 7, but may be arraigned sooner if unable to post bond. The theft of property charge carries a maximum penalty of six years in prison.
