The Toronto police’s homicide unit is currently investigating a tragic incident that occurred late Wednesday night in a downtown apartment. The victim, identified as 38-year-old Ryan Williams, fell from a balcony following an altercation inside the unit where he resided with his mother.

Location of the Incident
The incident took place at Church and Shuter streets in downtown Toronto, where police responded to an unknown trouble call at around 11:58 p.m. Upon arrival, they found the victim had fallen from a height and landed on some scaffolding.
Details of the Altercation
According to Det.-Sgt. Henri Marsman, there was an altercation inside the apartment before the victim fell. The exact circumstances leading to the fall are still under investigation, and the incident is being treated as a homicide.
Suspect and Persons of Interest
Investigators are currently searching for a suspect known by the street name “Justice.” The suspect, described as between 30 and 40 years old, was last seen wearing specific clothing items. Three other individuals who were with the suspect at the time of the incident are also considered persons of interest in the case.
