Two Indian students in the United States were killed in a head-on traffic collision near Lake Pleasant in Arizona, according to police. Tragic Accident Claims Lives of Two Indian Students in Arizona

Two young Indian students studying at Arizona State University tragically lost their lives in a fatal traffic collision near Lake Pleasant in Arizona. The victims, identified as 19-year-old Nivesh Mukka and 19-year-old Goutham Parsi from Telangana, were involved in a head-on collision that took place on Castle Hot Springs Road, just north of State Route 74.

Details of the Collision

The incident occurred on April 20, at around 6:18 pm, when Peoria Police responded to reports of a collision involving a white 2024 Kia Forte and a red 2022 Ford F150. The preliminary investigation revealed that the driver of the red F150 was travelling southbound on Castle Hot Springs Road, while the white Kia Forte was heading northbound.

Tragically, Mukka and Parsi succumbed to their injuries at the scene of the accident, while the driver of their vehicle was rushed to a local hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the other vehicle involved in the collision was also taken to the hospital for treatment but has since been released.

Police Investigation

The Peoria Police Department has launched an investigation into the cause of the collision. The area where the accident took place was closed off for several hours to allow for a thorough investigation. However, the road was reopened for normal traffic the following morning.
