Last week, a heartbreaking incident occurred in the picturesque town of Sedona, Arizona. The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office responded to a distressing report that a woman from Toledo had fallen down a 140-foot cliff on Bear Mountain while hiking with her husband and 10-month-old child.

Discovery of the Injured Woman

A group of hikers who were passing by heard cries for help and rushed to the scene to investigate. To their horror, they found a woman, later identified as 40-year-old Zaynab Joseph from Toledo, seriously injured after the fall. Despite their efforts to save her, Joseph tragically passed away shortly after.

Response and Recovery Efforts

Sedona Fire Department was the first to arrive at the scene and confirmed Joseph’s untimely death.
