Man and Woman Arrested After Stabbing Incident at Point State Park

A man and woman are currently facing charges in connection with a disturbing incident that took place at Point State Park in Pittsburgh. The incident occurred on Friday night, leaving a woman injured and in need of medical attention.

Cody Linder-Heck, 22, and Janelle Moore, 20, are both being held in the Allegheny County Jail without bail. According to court documents, they are considered a threat to the community and have been detained for further investigation.

Details of the Attack

Reports indicate that Janelle Moore informed the police that the attack was carried out by a man wearing all-black clothing, a mask, and standing at approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall with a tattoo under his right eye. The victim was reportedly cut on the neck and dragged on the ground during the assault.

Law enforcement officers were able to locate a man matching the description near the park’s entrance, who was identified as Cody Linder-Heck. The victim positively identified Linder-Heck as the attacker, leading to his immediate arrest.

Allegations of Conspiracy

During questioning, Linder-Heck admitted to the police that his fiancée, Janelle Moore, had instructed him to carry out the attack on the victim. Moore allegedly believed that the victim had been “setting them up” and orchestrated the assault at Point State Park.
