A 74-year-old woman from Ohio, Ann Mayers, has been arrested and charged with felony counts of aggravated robbery with a firearm and tampering with evidence after allegedly robbing a bank at gunpoint in Fairfield Township, Ohio.
The incident took place at the AurGroup Credit Union in Fairfield Township, Ohio. According to reports, Mayers entered the bank and demanded money while displaying a firearm.
After the robbery, Mayers fled the scene in a silver 2014 Hyundai Elantra. Authorities were able to track her down and arrest her at her residence in Hamilton, Ohio.
During the arrest, detectives found evidence inside Mayers’ vehicle, including a handgun. She is currently in custody at the Butler County Jail.
