Attempted murder in Puna is under investigation, as a 31-year-old man is in police custody after a shooting incident on Friday morning in Hawaiian Paradise Park. The incident left a 32-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds, who was taken to the Hilo Medical Center emergency room and remains hospitalized in stable condition.
According to a detailed evening news report by the Hawaii Police, the suspect has been identified as 31-year-old Vasily Viktorovich Trubachev from Kea’au.
