Security Tightened at Salman Khan’s Residence After Firing Incident

The recent firing incident outside Bollywood star Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai has sent shockwaves across the world. The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Sunday, April 12, prompted the Mumbai police to tighten security measures at Salman’s Galaxy apartment and launch a thorough investigation.

Within a week of the shooting, the shooters, identified as Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta, were apprehended in Bhuj, Gujarat. The swift action taken by the police led to the arrest of the suspects, bringing a sense of relief to Salman Khan and his family.

As the investigation progresses, a new development has emerged involving a 20-year-old man who allegedly booked a cab from Salman’s home in the name of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The accused, Rohit Tyagi, hailing from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, reportedly booked a cab from Galaxy Apartments to the Bandra police station, posing as Lawrence Bishnoi.

However, the cab driver quickly realized the ruse and reported the incident to the Bandra police station. Tyagi has since been arrested and is currently in custody, facing charges under IPC sections 505 and 290.

Update on Firing Incident

Following the initial shooting incident, the two shooters, Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21), were arrested by Kutch Police in Gujarat on Tuesday, April 16. Both suspects were brought back to Mumbai and are currently in police custody for further questioning.

The investigation revealed that Sagar Pal was influenced by the allure of the gangster lifestyle and was enticed by the promise of a substantial monetary reward for carrying out the shooting. Mumbai Police stated that the accused were informed that the job of firing outside Salman Khan’s residence was significant and would result in a handsome payment.

Furthermore, the police are looking into the involvement of Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, Anmol Bishnoi, in the incident. Anmol has allegedly claimed responsibility for the shooting, adding another layer of complexity to the ongoing investigation.
