Teenager Charged as an Adult for Shooting Incident in Milwaukee

A 17-year-old boy from Milwaukee is facing serious charges after allegedly shooting two individuals on March 19. The incident took place near 25th and Center around 6:40 p.m., leaving both victims, aged 25, with multiple gunshot wounds. Shockingly, neither victim was able to identify the shooter.

According to reports, a witness at the scene claimed that a person known as “Lil J”, later identified as Javion Fenton, arrived at the location with another individual. The witness stated that they saw Fenton retrieve a gun from the other person’s waistband and proceed to shoot one of the victims in the face. As the witness fled the scene, they heard additional gunshots and returned to find the second victim also injured.

Upon further investigation, police discovered eight bullet casings inside the property. A ballistics examination confirmed that all eight casings were fired from the same weapon. The witness positively identified Fenton from a photo lineup, leading to his arrest.

Fenton has been charged with two counts of first-degree reckless injury, as well as misdemeanor possession of a dangerous weapon. Court records indicate that Fenton is set to appear in court for the first time on April 20, where he will face the consequences of his alleged actions.
