Houston police are searching for two suspects involved in two carjackings that occurred just hours apart. The first incident took place on February 24 at an apartment complex on Buffalo Speedway, where a young woman was held at gunpoint and her car was stolen. The second carjacking occurred on February 25 at a different complex on West Bellfort Avenue, where a mother’s car was stolen with her 12-month-old son inside. Two Carjackings Terrify Houston Residents
In a shocking turn of events, two carjackings have left Houston residents on edge as police search for the suspects involved in the terrifying incidents. The first carjacking occurred on February 24 at an apartment complex on the 9900 block of Buffalo Speedway. A young woman was held at gunpoint as she headed to her apartment, with the thieves taking her keys and stealing her car.
Mother Terrorized by Thieves
The second carjacking took place just a day later at the 2700 block of West Bellfort Avenue. A mother parked her car with her two children inside, including her 12-month-old son. As she took her son inside, she saw the suspects backing her car out with her baby still inside. Frantically, she ran towards the exit gate, screaming for the thieves to stop.
“They looked like kids to me, they both were in my car backing the car out and I’m screaming, ‘My baby is in the car,’” the mother, identified as “Heather,” said.
Child Found Safe
Thankfully, a good Samaritan found the child left on the side of the road by the suspects after they abandoned the vehicle a few blocks away. The child was unharmed, and Heather escaped without serious injury. The suspects were last seen heading northbound on Loop 610 before exiting the highway.

Police Search for Suspects
