According to reports from the New York Post, Nunes was filmed pleading with the man, whom she referred to as “uncle,” to sign documents for a $3,400 loan, approximately equivalent to Rs. 2.83 lakhs. The video captured her trying to place a pen in his hand and encouraging him to sign the contract.
Despite a bank employee noticing the man’s pale and unwell appearance, Nunes persisted in her efforts. She dismissed the concerns raised and continued to press the deceased man to sign the loan documents, stating, “Sign so you don’t give me any more headaches, I can’t take it anymore.”
As the situation unfolded, the bank staff grew increasingly suspicious of Nunes’ behavior as she appeared to speak directly into the ear of the motionless body. Without delay, they alerted the authorities, leading to Nunes’ subsequent arrest by the police.
