According to the preliminary report from the THP, a 1988 Toyota Pickup had broken down in the southbound lane of Panther Creek Road. The driver, identified as 58-year-old Ronnie Kinsler, was standing at the rear of his truck while a 2001 Ford Ranger was parked in front of it. The driver of the Ranger was standing between the two vehicles.
At that moment, a 1996 Toyota RAV-4 was traveling south on Panther Creek Road when it struck Kinsler and rear-ended the pickup. The impact caused the pickup to be pushed forward, hitting the rear end of the Ranger and its driver.
Tragic Outcome
Tragically, Ronnie Kinsler was killed as a result of the crash. The driver of the Ranger and the driver of the Toyota RAV-4 were both injured in the collision. Charges are pending against the driver of the Toyota, as indicated in the THP report.
