Police Arrest Three Suspects in Fatal Napa Shooting

Over the weekend, a tragic incident unfolded near downtown Napa, where two women lost their lives in a fatal shooting. The incident took place on Saturday at approximately 8:10 p.m. along the 400 block of Riverside Drive. Napa police officers responded to the scene to find two women who had been shot. Tragically, one woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second victim succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.

Witnesses reported hearing a loud argument just before the shooting occurred, indicating a potential altercation that escalated into violence. The scene of the incident was chaotic, with authorities working swiftly to secure the area and gather evidence to piece together what transpired on that fateful night.

Arrest of Suspects

In a significant development, police arrested three individuals suspected of involvement in the shooting. The primary suspect, 22-year-old John Nicholson Jr. from Vallejo, was apprehended by Napa police and SWAT officers, along with assistance from Napa County Sheriff’s SWAT officers and detectives. Nicholson was booked into the Napa County Jail on two counts of murder.

Subsequently, two other suspects, 19-year-old Jessica Whitten and 19-year-old Judith Adolph from Santa Rosa, were arrested by Sonoma County Sheriff’s detectives. The women were charged with aiding in a felony and were later transferred to the custody of Napa police, also being booked into the Napa County Jail.
