Fresno Man Fatally Shot in Central Fresno
FRESNO, Calif. – The victim of a fatal shooting in central Fresno has been identified as 42-year-old Yong Vang.
The tragic incident occurred on Monday afternoon when officers received a Shotspotter notification at approximately 4:20 pm on 9th Street near Pine Avenue in Fresno.
According to witnesses, Vang was involved in a physical altercation before shots were fired. Responding officers discovered him with a gunshot wound at the scene.
