A 27-year-old man from Salem in Tamil Nadu tragically died after falling from the 19th floor of the Renaissance Hotel in Bengaluru. The victim, identified as Sharan Kumaran, was suspected to have jumped from the balcony. He checked into the hotel for a day but extended his stay by two more days. Kumaran, who claimed to be in Bengaluru for business, was a regular guest at the hotel. Witnesses reported seeing him behaving suspiciously before the incident. Man Falls to Death from 19th Floor of Renaissance Hotel in Bengaluru

A tragic incident occurred at the Renaissance Hotel in Madhava Nagar, on Race Course Road in Bengaluru, where a 27-year-old man from Salem in Tamil Nadu lost his life under mysterious circumstances. The victim, identified as Sharan Kumaran, fell from the 19th floor of the hotel around 2.30 pm on Monday, leaving everyone in shock.

Extended Stay Turns Fatal

Sharan Kumaran had checked into the Renaissance Hotel in Bengaluru on Saturday for what was supposed to be just a one-day stay. However, he decided to extend his visit by two more days. The young man, who was a regular guest at the hotel and had stayed there a few times before, had informed the receptionist that he was in the city for business purposes.

Suspicious Movements Lead to Tragic End

According to DCP HT Shekhar, the incident took place in the early afternoon when Kumaran was spotted behaving suspiciously on the balcony of the 19th floor. Concerned hotel guests alerted the security staff after noticing his unusual movements. Sadly, before the security could intervene, Kumaran jumped from the balcony, resulting in his untimely demise.

Identifying the Deceased

Following the tragic incident, the police found Kumaran’s Aadhaar card in his hotel room. Authorities are currently in the process of contacting his family through the Salem district police. The High Grounds police, who have registered a case of unnatural death, have moved the body for postmortem examination as the investigation into the incident continues.
