The Northampton County Coroner’s Office identified Lincoln P. Brown, 52, of Selinsgrove, as the motorist killed in a crash involving a dump truck in Lehigh Township. Brown, the driver of the tri-axle dump truck, was traveling south along Route 145 when the accident occurred. The crash, which also involved a passenger vehicle, occurred just after 6:30 a.m. at Mulberry Drive, south of Walnutport. Route 145 was closed for the crash response and investigation, reopening around 11:40 a.m. This incident was one of three fatal crashes in the Lehigh Valley region between Monday and Tuesday mornings. Tragic Crash Claims Life of Pennsylvania Motorist in Lehigh Township

A tragic accident involving a dump truck claimed the life of Lincoln P. Brown, a 52-year-old motorist from Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning in Lehigh Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.

According to the Northampton County Coroner’s Office, Brown was driving his tri-axle dump truck south along Route 145 when the crash occurred. Unfortunately, Brown succumbed to his injuries, and the death was ruled as an accident by Coroner Zachary Lysek.

The crash, which also involved a passenger vehicle, took place just after 6:30 a.m. at Mulberry Drive, located just south of Walnutport. Route 145 was closed for several hours for the crash response and investigation, but was reopened around 11:40 a.m., as indicated by an emergency radio broadcast.

Details regarding the crash, including whether anyone else was injured, were not immediately available. This incident was one of three tragic accidents that occurred in the Lehigh Valley region between Monday and Tuesday mornings.

In another unfortunate event on Monday morning, 27-year-old Valdaishi Simpkins from Irvington, New Jersey, was fatally injured by an eastbound tractor-trailer along Interstate 80 in Hardwick Township, Warren County. Simpkins was near her disabled vehicle along the right shoulder when the tragic accident occurred.

Additionally, a 15-year-old pedestrian named Emmanuel Gboyah, from Allentown, was struck and killed by a vehicle at the intersection of MacArthur Road (Route 145) and Mickley Road in Whitehall Township around 8:30 p.m. on Monday.
