The Pimpri Chinchwad Police on Tuesday initiated a probe after condoms, stones, and gutkha were found in samosas served at a canteen of a major automobile company.

Details of the Incident
The police official disclosed that a shocking incident unfolded at the canteen of a major automobile firm where samosas were found to be contaminated with condoms, gutkha, and stones. This discovery led to an investigation that revealed a conspiracy involving five individuals.
Among the accused, two individuals allegedly conspired to contaminate the food as part of a revenge plot. These two individuals had recently joined a subcontracting company, Manohar Enterprises, which was responsible for supplying snacks to the canteen. Their objective was to defame the new supplier and tarnish their reputation.
Additionally, three other individuals, partners of another firm named SRA Enterprises, were involved in the scheme. This firm had previously been removed from supplying snacks to the canteen after an adhesive bandage was found in samosas. The partners of SRA Enterprises strategically placed the two workers in Manohar Enterprises to carry out the adulteration.
Legal Action Taken
The police have registered a case under IPC sections 328 (causing hurt by means of poison) and 120B (criminal conspiracy) against the accused individuals. The investigation revealed that the contaminated samosas were supplied by Manohar Enterprises, which had subcontracted the snack supply from Catalyst Service Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
Following the discovery of the contaminants in the samosas, the employees of Manohar Enterprises were questioned, leading to the identification of the two workers responsible for the contamination. These workers confessed to being sent by the partners of SRA Enterprises to carry out the adulteration.
Motive Behind the Conspiracy
The motive behind the conspiracy was to damage the market reputation of Manohar Enterprises. The partners of SRA Enterprises orchestrated the contamination to discredit their competitor and regain the snack supply contract.
