The victims, Zakir and Sher Alam, were on their way to deposit Rs13.5 million in a bank when they were ambushed by the armed assailants. The incident, which occurred at 9:35 in the morning, highlighted the growing concern over the safety of civilians in Karachi. This year alone, the toll of civilian casualties from violent robberies has reached 58, underscoring the urgent need for increased security measures in the city.
