STOCKTON, Calif. — After a series of tragic events in Stockton, California, where three separate shootings resulted in three fatalities and three injuries, authorities have now identified the individuals who lost their lives in these senseless acts of violence.

### First Shooting Incident
The first shooting took place around 12:42 a.m. at Wood Duck Circle and Quail Lakes Drive near Quail Lake. The victim, 21-year-old Boivae Martinez, was found inside a vehicle on top of a median with at least one gunshot wound. Martinez tragically passed away at the scene. The motive behind the shooting and a suspect description are still unknown. Witnesses in the neighborhood described the aftermath of the crash, with a broken sign reading “Wood Duck Circle” and scattered bricks across the grass.

### Second Shooting and Police Pursuit
Later in the day, at approximately 2:37 p.m., officers responded to Astor Drive near Bedlow Drive off of Hammer Lane after reports of shots fired. A 53-year-old man was discovered with gunshot wounds and was rushed to a nearby hospital. Concurrently, the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office engaged in a pursuit of a vehicle that was possibly linked to the Astor Drive shooting. The chase concluded near California Street and East Harding Way, resulting in the death of an 18-year-old male passenger, David Perez. Two 19-year-old women, not part of the pursued vehicle, also sustained injuries and sought medical attention.

### Third Tragic Shooting
Shortly after, at around 3:11 p.m., authorities found a 36-year-old man with a gunshot wound inside a vehicle near East Jackson Street and South Wilson Way. The victim, identified as Brady Thornton, was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators believe the injury was not self-inflicted.
