Man Arrested After Courthouse Lockdown in Cibola County

The accused individual was discovered inside a parked vehicle near the courthouse premises. He emerged from the vehicle brandishing an axe, as reported by the Cibola County Sheriff’s Office. Swift action by the deputies led to the apprehension of the suspect, who has been identified as John O’Brien.
O’Brien now faces charges of attempted murder, threatening a judge, and using a telephone to issue threats. He has been placed under arrest and is currently being held at the Cibola County Detention Center.
